3d printing has really sucked me in. It combines my love to tinker with the ability to break all sorts of new things. The other night I was thinking about building an automatic filament measuring system that measures the weight of the spool as the filament is used. Super handy, fits right into my wheel house of something new to tinker with and more different things I can break.

So I’m off to try to collect whatever information I can. Hopefully this will help someone else besides myself.
